Terms of Service

1. The service

Vyomo provides independent, buyer-side property scouting. A scout visits a property you identify, documents its condition with photos and video, and delivers an honest written report — typically within 48 hours of the visit. We act for you, the buyer, and are never paid by the seller, agent, or developer.

2. What a report is — and is not

A Vyomo report is a good-faith visual and observational account of what our scout saw on the day of the visit. It is not:

• a licensed structural, engineering, or pest inspection;
• a legal title search, appraisal, or valuation;
• investment, financial, or legal advice; or
• a guarantee of the property’s future condition or value.

For matters that require a licensed professional, we will tell you when we see a red flag, but you remain responsible for commissioning the appropriate expert before you buy.

3. Booking and quotes

When you submit a request, we return a quote — usually within 4 hours — based on the property location and scope. A booking is confirmed once you accept the quote and payment is received. Access depends on cooperation from the seller or agent, which is outside our control.

4. Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate property details, access information, and any specific concerns.
• Have the right to request an inspection of the property in question.
• Make your own purchase decision; a report informs it but does not replace your judgment.

5. Scheduling and access

We will make reasonable efforts to complete the visit within the agreed window. If a scout is denied entry, the property is inaccessible, or the listing is withdrawn, we will tell you promptly and discuss rescheduling or a refund under our Refund Policy.

6. Fees and payment

Fees are stated in your quote and are payable in advance unless otherwise agreed. Quotes are valid for the period stated and may change if the scope or location changes after booking.

7. Intellectual property

Once your report is paid for and delivered, the photos, video, and written findings are yours to use for your own property decision. Vyomo retains the right to use anonymized, de-identified excerpts to improve and demonstrate the service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vyomo’s total liability for any claim arising from a report is limited to the amount you paid for that report. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on the report.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Cebu City.
